Markie Post
Markie Post was born in Walnut Creek,
California. She began her career in television and film productions such as
"Card Sharks" (1978) or "The New Card Sharks” (1986). Later, she
produced projects like Double Dare (1976). She also has appeared in TV shows
such as 1st to Die (2003) and E! True Hollywood Story (1996), Electra Woman
(2001) and Dyna Girl (2001). Perhaps her greatest TV part was "Christine
Sullivan" on Night Court (1984). She appeared in 156 episodes of this
comedy, from 1984 to 1992. Daughter of Marylee (Armstrong) Post, poet, and
noted nuclear physical scientist Richard Freeman Post (November 14 1918 - April
7 15th, 2015). With her second husband Michael A. Ross, she had two children:
Katie Ross (born June 26 in 1986) and Daisy Ross (30 March 1990). Born in Palo
Alto in California and was raised in Walnut Creek. As a cheerleader, she
attended Las Lomas High School in Walnut Creek. She received her Bachelor of
Arts degree at Lewis & Clark College, Portland Oregon. She did some
trick roping in The Wildest West Show of the Stars (1986). She was cremated and
her ashes returned to Michael A. Ross. She was a long-time Democrat. Markie
Post died three months after her 71st Birthday on August 7 2021. She was 27
days away from Charles Robinson, Night Court (1984) as well as the co-star of
which she passed away on July 11 in 2020. Although they were completely
different shows, Night Court (1984), which she played the role of Christine
Sullivan leaving for Washington DC. Hearts Afire (1992) was a show in which
Post was a new character Georgie lahti (who was, in fact, been employed in
Washington DC before moving to an area that was smaller) was released in 1992.
